Invisible systray icon? Still?

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Invisible systray icon? Still?

Post by *5h17h34d »

Ive had this issue since b2. Not sure if it was there in b1. When I set TC7b4 to minimize to tray it creates a small space I can see but no icon. Is there something wrong here or is this an issue on other people's machines?

You probably uses an external icon library set via IconLib in wincmd.ini, right? If yes, then the problem may be caused by the library itself. Try to turn it off.

:) Hello K. !

• I use still an old icon library :
IconLib=K:\TC_7-tests\Wcicolib.icl
and like I said above, I've no problem !

Excellent! that fixed it Flint. Thank you. IIRC I posted this issue when b2 was released and it was never resolved except we knew that it was an issue specific to me.

So, you are using a library that has correct format. :)

This happens if the icon library doesn't contain the new Total Commander icon in 16 colors, and you are working with a Windows version before XP. These Windows versions did not support hicolor or truecolor icons in the tray.
