Scenario:
Left - ten or twenty different tabs (few)
Right - some files witch must be copied in each directories (opposite tabs)

Mark files...

Shortcuts: Ctrl-Alt-Shift-F5

GO!

It's mean 'Copy' something from one source folder to another's (few) in one instance. For example, in each Tab opened in the other side.

Best wishes,

Already requested multiple times.

See this for details with workarounds.

I saw your script. I will try.

Thank you.

Now I use following z.cmd file, in %windir%:

copy path1\*.*

After that I will go to every dirs and I give simply command 'z'
and all file from path1 are copied to current dir.
Problem is only if the destination directories are in different path.
Is a little bit complicated.

Best wishes,

File(s) copy to multiple tabs as a destination

No doubt, this feature is badly missing.
The ability to copy file(s) to multiple tabs as a destination on the opposite pane would greatly improve TC.

I am handling multiple Web servers. So a deployment process for me across environments, i.e Dev->QA->Staging->Production is exactly that scenario.

Sure, this feature was mentioned many time in different posts.
All proposed workarounds look like a cludge.
The feature should be built-in in TC.

Yitzhak

But I think you know about the new feature about copy to multiple dirs.
Do you?
Make your own list of folders (or links to them) and copy.

The wish is half already done. :)

Best wishes,
