Security commands like cm_EditOwnerInfo does not run

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Security commands like cm_EditOwnerInfo does not run

Post by *gilbert3 »

Windows Vista Home Premium - TC run in normal mode:
TC menu tools in security tab: cm_EditPermissionInfo, cm_EditAuditInfo, cm_EditOwnerInfo - it does not run on Windows Vista Home Premium, even if TC ran in Administrator Mode. Statement translated into English is: "Windows cannon modify inspection sets because the component used in this operation is not corresponding with any Windows version relased after Windows 2003..."
These command are not working even TC is run in Administrator mode.

Someone at Microsoft has decided to drop these functions from Windows Vista. Unfortunately there are no new functions which replace them. I would have to code that all by hand, which would be a HUGE work and take a lot of time. I'm sorry but therefore these functions are no longer available on Vista.
