Security Problems in Vista - Context Menu

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Security Problems in Vista - Context Menu

Post by *mstier »

OS: Windows Vista
TC Version: 7.01

The context menu (right mouse button on an file) in TC does not contain the same entries as in Windows Explorer when started as User. It contains the same entries when started as Administrator, which is highly discouraged.

Are you using a Vista 64-bit version ?
Search the forum for "Vista context menu" and you will find an answer :)

Total Commander does not create the context menu by itself. You can check with a test tool how it is created:

Maybe you started Total Commander with full admin rights?
