Synchronize Dirs: compare by content

I often have to synchronize source code directories and have the "Ignore Date" checked (because it would otherwise find nearly every file).

Because TC checks in this case only the file size, it would not find files with switched characters (or other changes that not result in a bigger file).

So it would nice to have an additional option that allows to compare by content (list all files with at least one difference and shows the number of differences in a new column). Of course this would be slow, but not slower than to compare every file manually)

Furthermore it would nice to have a context menu entry, that compares every marked file and shows the number of differences it that new column.

best regards

Thomas

BTW: it would nice to have an option, to ignore time differences of x hours (different times in diffent time zones)

The selection "by Content" is already available

Hi, I think I know what samot is getting at. We would like a combination of the "Compare Directories" and "Compare by Content.." where files are marked if there is a difference in contents, i.e. ignore date.
