Smartphone

Post by *dumaal »

Hello,
I have a HTC S710 smartphone, it has WM6 standard OS, and a sliding querty keyboard. The first thing I noticed after installing the TC 2.5 beta was that the screen does not adjust when I slide the keyboard. It rotates but the width does not change for landscape orientation. I read somewere that this was implemented for the pocket pc version, now that there are also some smartphones with this feature it would be nice if the smartphone version would have this solved too.

Thanks for your report.

Does your device have a touch screen?

The device does not have a touch screen. This is somehow implied by the fact that the manufacturer chosed WM6 Standard(for smartphone) OS. If it had a touch screen, they would have to use WM6 Profesional(which actually is WM6 standard + touch screen support & minor stuff)

Indeed the Smartphone version does not currently react to screen size changes, because there hasn't been any device capable of changing screen resolution. I will check whether I can add this functionality.

Does it work correctly when you close TC via its menu, and then open it directly in landscape mode?
