[Suggestion] Search window layout change.

Hi.

Please take a look on this fake screenshot and compare with the real one:

Some search options could be groupped and replaced.
I think this could be more intuitive and give less window height.

For consistency purposes I've created "Advanced" tab proposal too:

"Plugins" and "Load / Save" tabs can easily be resized without any controls positioning issues.

PLS add also size in Gbytes into advanced tab.

Best wishes,

I agree that similar options could be rearranged, but the result shown in the first post is too wide. Not everyone has 16:9 wide-screen monitors.

And, please, don't forget about translations! You have left too few space for the option names, and many translations may become cut. And if you try to increase this space, your dialog will grow much wider. So, I'm against this specific variant.

BTW, about rearranging: I'm still hoping to see some day my suggestion implemented...

Too wide? I've assumed that switching screen resolution to 800x600 and trying to not Maximize is good way to start thinking about controls movement.
I understand translation issues but shouldn't there be some sort of "standard limitations"? I've thought that option names should be specific and short (without unnecessary words). Why there is "Search subdirectories" sentence if "Subdirectories" can be good enough?
It should be as simple as it possible.

Too wide not because it wouldn't fit into 800x600, but because it looks too wide just for my eye. I prefer dialog boxes that look like rectangles, not like thin strips.

Very often translation problems have nothing to do with "standard limitations". For example, the word "case" is translated into Russian as "регистр" - almost twice as long as the English word, and there's no way to shorten it.

I've meant "standard limitations" as something like:
"For Archive label it is preferred to have max. 20 letters".

[EOT] This topic is going to be about who and what prefer.

P.S. I think that I know about translations pros and cons enough (once I had to translate few thousands english strings to polish for BenQ-Siemens mobile phones).
