What should Shift+Del do ?

Delete the file on the right side, the left side, both sides ?

To avoid wrong file deletion, the DEL key is not supported by design (same for Shift+Del)
You have to use the context menu entry.

As sqa_wizard explained, the keyboard shortcut cannot be used here, as there is no way to determine, whether the file on the right side, left side, or both should be deleted. You MUST use here the context menu on the line with the pair of files.

See an example here: http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/4853/syncdeleteoptionsmw0.jpg

Just hold <SHIFT> key pressed, while selecting the context menu entry.

2d,
You're right.

The "confirm delete dialog" should be different when <SHIFT> is pressed.
For example like the Explorer "Confirm Delete" dialogs:
Explorer delete wrote:---------------------------
Confirm File Delete
---------------------------
(Recycle Bin -Icon) Are you sure you want to send "FILENAME" to the Recycle Bin?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
or
Explorer delete with <SHIFT> wrote:---------------------------
Confirm File Delete
---------------------------
(Exclamation mark + disruptive File/Folder -Icon) Are you sure you want to delete "FILENAME"?
---------------------------
Yes No
---------------------------
These dialogs are already in use when deleting is initiated from the TCs file panel and explorer deleting method is activated.

Kind regards,
Holger
