Random error

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Random error

Post by *roentgen »

I just created a new partition (mounted in an empty NTFS dir, no drive letter) and I started to move stuff into it. I was running 2 instances of TC: one under the currently logged on limited account and one for the Administrator account.

Both instances had the newly created volume open in one of the panels.

As the files were moving I received several error messages in both instances.

I think the errors were caused by something malfunctioning in Windows itself and TC has no blame but I thought it's worth reporting.
TC for Linux please!

Thanks for your report! Unfortunately the error is indeed in Windows itself. I recommend that you copy your data, not move it, and then restart your computer and recompare the data (using "synchronize dirs" with option "by content").
