context scrolling

I notice in Firefox, when the cursor is over the web page, scrolling wheel scrolls the page. When the cursor is over the bookmarks list, the bookmarks scroll. Firefox is sensitive to the location of the cursor and scrolls the pane beneath the cursor.

In TC, the selected pane scrolls regardless of the location of the cursor, even if it is off the application completely. The other pane must be selected manually to allow it to be scrolled. This is no more convenient than having to physically select and drag the scroll bars. Would it be possible to make the panes in TC cursor sensitive so that the pane beneath the cursor reacts to the scroll request, regardless of which pane is selected?

Thank you for all the years of good work put into this wonderful tool. I use TC as much as or more than any other program. I cannot imagine using Windows without it. I even use TC in WiNE under Linux. TC is the best file utility in any operating system.

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• I get that you wish every day because I use an old Logitech mouse -and especially its old driver - which allows to scroll the panel under the cursor without changing the focus…
- Or else, you could install that FREE UTILITY.

 Kind regards,

Use KatMouse or check your mouse software for that feature.
