TC7.02a/TOTALCMD.HLP/Drag & Drop/Drag to command line

Post by *white »

In the help page "Drag & Drop" the following text is listed:
Drag a file to the command line to add its short (DOS) name to it. To add the long name, press Ctrl+Enter instead. Holding down Shift adds the name with full path.
This text is listed under "Examples for Drag&Drop:". In my opinion it should be listed above "Examples for Drag&Drop:". For instance just below the text
The buttons View (F3), Edit (F4) and Delete (F8) can also be a target for Drag&Drop actions. The initiated actions are the same as if you just press the button(s) directly.
I also think the text is more clear when you reorder the lines of the text like this:
Drag a file to the command line to add its short (DOS) name to it. Holding down Shift adds the name with full path. To add the long name(s), press Ctrl+Enter and Shift+Ctrl+Enter instead.

Nothing is changed in Help file of TC 9.50 beta 5. If changes suggested in above post are not planned, maybe this topic should be moved to Behavior will not be changed subforum?
