since copy and move confirmation dialog have option to specify files type to apply the action to, why dont implement this option on delete confirmation dialog too?

if no files type specified then delete the whole folder.

i just extracted windows 2k8 iso to a folder and wanted to delete all fles in the folder, leaving only *.sys files. if deletion dialog have option i mentioned just now, i could just enter *.*|*.sys there

You must follow few steps:
- Branch - Ctrl+B
- Select exactly what you want to delete *.*|*.sys (or select *.sys and inverse)
- Make the action with selected files (delete)

hi thanks. i already knew that :D beside, that trick above would require me to hunt down for empty dirs to del after removing files with uwanted extensions.

anyhow, i was just suggesting that the files type feature in copy/move confrmation dialog to be made in delete dialog too. wouldnt it save a lot of time?

I support this !
But i think that the request should be more complete asking that TC provide same dialog functionality "with filtering" to all operation/mode !
operation :
copy, move, delete and

Mode :
Disk explorer, FS mode, FTP mode.

I will also add the same request for "tree view" and "Branch view" that does not works in ftp/FS mode !
