Synchronize Directories: Delete directly w/o recycle bin

Post by *StatusQuo »

(inspired by http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=145045#145045 )

Using Synchronize Directories in Asymmetric mode TC can delete single files on the right side. If set in the options, these will be deleted to the recycle bin.

To delete the files directly, you have to press Shift before pressing OK button in the "Synchronize" dialog.
Unfortunately, pressing Shift+"Yes"-button in the delete confirmation dialog has no effect yet (TC 7.02a).

 Checking for Shift key being pressed in the delete confirmation dialog (additionally) would be nice
to get a consistent behaviour in the different places
(as found out in this thread: Shift+"Yes"-button is detected after RMB -> "Delete (left/right/both)" is selected in Sync Dirs).
Who the hell is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk?

Actually it's the same behaviour as in TC's main window: Here you also have to Shift+Click on the "F8 delete" button, or press Shift+Del, not when TC asks for confirmation to delete the file.

But it's a good idea to add it there too.

Right, maybe in delete confirmation of the main window this would be nice, too.
TIA.
