Search for files: Background, Pause, Cache

Ok, i think the Search function could be improved greatly, in the following ways:

1) Add an option to move operation to "Background" (as eg for unzipping, etc).

2) Add an option to "pause" search (currently, there is only a "stop" option)

3) Cache the name of all files of the disk (during a search) and store them for the next search (or an option in the "general" tab to search cached/stored filenames first). Currently, when i'm searching for file1, TC scans the whole hard disk. After a while, i search for file2, and then again TC scans the drive again. As far as i am concerned, in about 99% of my searches, no important changes have occured in files between two of my searches. This would save a LOT of time (secs instead of minutesssss).

Not sure if someone has suggested the above before, but those are my two cents.

TC already does that by using Windows' disk cache system.

Not efficiently though; or at least, so it seems.
I would much prefer it if TC kept itself a stored cache of filenames that would last more (because currently, whatever it uses, lasts only for a little while, then again scans the hard drive, as i explained before).
