I bought my TC license #524 with Windows Commander 1.30e in 1994 - but I started using Windows Commander from v. 1.12
I've bought my first 4 Licenses in 2001 #64329 and some other later. It was one of most useful App purchase ever. Windows / Total Commander is first app, which I'm starting after login. After long time use of Norton Commander in DOS, it was the only, best and better alternative. Thank You, Mr. Ghisler!
My oldest sw license so far. Paid with stamps in 1996 and got a diskette (the same as the icon for TC) with an installation instructions leaflet for Windows 3.1
I also bought an additional license for my work laptop in 2011.
I have transferred my personal license to more than 15 computers/laptops since after upgrading. I just can't live without this incredible piece of sw.
Funny thing is most people keep asking today "What the h*ll is that!!" when they watch my screen taken over by a terminal-like-text-only-retro-style window... And start commenting in awe when I describe just some of its functionalities.
