File explorer and FTP integrated in one program is brilliant! Probably one of the best/most useful features in TC.
I would say improve the FTP features to match other popular FTP software, eg. add a Comment field in the FTP details where you can put any notes.

Isn't the "Session:" field pretty good to add a note?

I was after a multiline text area where I can paste in all the FTP details from an email ^^

Okay, multi line is not possible in this place, but after resizing the "Connect to ftp server" dialog, a short note can be shown in this field.

What did you mean with "FTP details"?
Isn't this exactly what you have filled into the "FTP connection details" dialog?

I mean just anything related to the FTP, such as the host details/contact/etc, SQL Server details, anything. Most FTP clients have this field where you can put your own notes.

Also, when downloading/uploading, if the same file exists, it would be good to see more information and options, just like the dialog you see when you copy files locally.

This FTP feature is just awesome when integrated with a file explorer, and it could be even better

Pictures, emails, ...?
Wouldn't it be better to add a link to an external (Word?) document in this case?

A picture preview in overwrite dialog would mean that the file of the server side must be downloaded first!

Please use the search function for the suggestion forum first.
Actual there are 298 posts concerning "FTP" in "TC7 suggestion (English)".
May be you can add your support for an already existing suggestion?

In the past, I had also requested to have an additional field to put in it for example the password (not masked/crypted) to remember it, if I want to do another connection with another tool.
I know it is not secure but we can do what we want with an additional comment field.

I don't know how it was replied to this old request.

Yeah it would be very useful and should not be too hard to add I think. Atm I have to save all those info in FileZilla

This is a feature that I miss sooooo much.
Can't be difficult to implement.
