Sometimes hardware/OS/power_supply crashes and tabs are lost...
It very inconvient if TotalCommander is running for hours, so I suppose to autosave tabs in 10 seconds after last change.

Sorry for crushing your dreams but it doesn;t seem to be real. Such feature could be a killer of USB sticks. I am totally against it.

On the other hand: it should be very easy to have simple script for that written in AHK.

It can be an option, "off" by default.

I know it can but the wquestion is: will Christian deliver that.

I've only presented my point of view which I believe author shares.

Please, remember, that TC has already thousands of features in "legendary ToDo list" so I don't think it will come first (but we all can be surprized).

Suggestion have already discussed. Currently no result.

If this option is made optional, then I think it would be a nice addition.

I for one wouldn't use it, since I often use the task manager to kill TC when I've screwed up my (many) tabs ;-)

But I know people who have been annoyed by losing their tabs to TC crashes or even PC crashes...
