Needed? No. Useful? A bit, with configurable browser (for portability) some more.

Optional

:) Hello !
They can for html files but it would be great to have it for txt too.
• I would much prefer optional for *.TXT. I've a text editor with active URLs,
many times it's pretty annoying when I nedd to copy only… and it can't be disabled :|

Why is it annoying? When I have url in text, I always copy and paste because I was too lazy to register by browser as default (I'd have to do it manually) and I find highlighting helpful. RClick->copy url. Selection with mouse would be slower, with keyboard selection it doesn't hurt.

:) Hello !

• It's annoying because like I said, in that editor the URLs in TXT are highlighted and active and in bold and blue-coloured…
- Any mouse slip starts the browser unexpectedly, and I can't select the string via 2-click…
- That's a programme written with Delphi (3 or 4).
So, highlighted but inactive : YES, highlighted and active : NO, optional please.
