No, READABLE !

:) Hello Karl !
…And all this, just to fix a cosmetic issue ...
• Sorry, I disagree, that isn't cosmetical only. I ought say that even with 1024*768,
it's difficult to me to spot the drives letters easily, and the 120 DPI TC option can't be applied onto the interface… :|
- Same in some files, for instance :
LogFile=E:\TC_7-03_beta\Journaux\TC_7-5.log
Is OK, I spot the line, while
IconLib=e:\TC_7-03_beta\Wcicolib.icl
is not, often worse with some fonts…
- On the drive buttons, not better…
- So, I still wish uppercase letters in such places, according to a consensus¦compromise
to reach together (together=The Author and us).

Hi, Claude.

Readability might be better if T.C. were consistent, right. Today it is not uncommon to have drive letters I:, J: and even L:.
Provided you use uppercase letters consistently, chances will be low to mix up drives I: and L: or I: and J:.
Hm, it just occurred to me that in the T.C. drive dropdown list I really identify the drives j: and i: more by their positions inside the drop down list and by the comment columns ("DVD drive"vs. "USB drive") than by the letters themselves. (J: is the last drive in the list here)

All right, I guess I have just joined the "Christian, use uppercase drive letters consistently, please" party. :)

Cheers,
Karl

Hi Karl, welcome to the party! :)

Let's hope, that Christian will find an easy way for the change.

I agree too.

Good programming practices suggest that there should be only ONE routine responsible for formatting path strings for display...

Doesn't look like it. Just check pb2's history.txt. ;)

A million thanks to Christian. :)

Nope, just wait a little while for it to be officially released. ;)

This mistake was intentional for the case you can't see smiley :)

Seriously: I don't think Ghisler have a time for Photoshop these days.

So, I'm sad at heart, but the party is over. :(

2Christian: Many thanks for the big change, and to satisfy this big wish! You make me so happy!
I was not able to test all commands, but these I checked are working.
Also thanks to the other users for support this feature.

Thank you for the two new settings :-)

Some comments though...

I find it a little confusing that using cm_PrintDir and cm_PrintDirSub follows the setting of DrivesShowUpcase - I would find it more logical to follow DrivesExportUpcase.

I must admit that I am still missing uppercase supporr for:
1. using cm_CopySrcPathToClip
2. using cm_CopyTrgPathToClip
I think at least these two should also be supported - then all the CopytoClip commands would be supported.

Furthermore I would also like to see Ctrl+P (copying current path to command line supported - it seems natural since Ctrl+Shift+Enter (copy path+file name to command line) is supported.

Finally I would still like to see writing to totalcmd.#.log files and the tcignore.txt file (when using the button "Add selected names with full path") supported.
