750PB1:BTM,error downloading file (..x)

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

* Open the same folder in left and right panel in Total Commander
* Select one file
* Select menu option Commands/Background Transfer Manager
* Click the + button
* Select the option Add selected items for copying
* Click the OK button to confirm the target path
* Click the OK button when the error "You cannot copy a file to itself!" is displayed
* Click the Start button (of the Background Transfer Manager)
* Click the + button
* Select the option Add URL to download
* Enter "sdfkjddddcsa" (random non-existing URL) and click OK twice
* The error message "Error downloading file!" appears
* Click OK
* The error message "Error downloading file! (2x)" appears

The last error does not seem right to me.

Please, read this one:

It looks like there is something wrong after "You cannot copy a file to itself" message. I think all reports containing the same first steps (until mentioned message) have the same source.

TC reports the number of errors when all operations finish in BTM, therefore you get two messages (the failed copy operation is counted here too...).

Not true. All operations did finish after the copy operation failed and the number of errors was not reported.

Sorry, I don't understand your problem.
The first operation fails because the source and target are identical. This gives you a "per file" error, but then pauses the BTM.
The second operation fails because you entered an invalid URL. This gives you also a "per file" error, but doesn't pause.
Therefore you get the error summary at the end that there were two errors. It should actually say "Error in 2 operartions" or so, the error text is from the time when the BTM was used only for ftp...

Once I clicked the Start button, the BTM was no longer paused and the errors summary should be displayed.
