shift+ctrl+left/right to open dir in new tab in other panel

It is very useful that when using the directory menu or the drive-letter drop-downs (Alt+F1/F2), one can hold down the shift key to have the specified directory opened in a new tab.

Often, I open a directory in the opposite panel using Ctrl+Right/Left. It would be wonderful if this could also support the shift key modifier to have the specified directory opened in a new tab in the other panel.

Many thanks Roman. This will certainly be useful. And what a speedy reply!

1. This should be in the help file (page Folder Tabs).

2. The modifier key logic is inconsistent, since in the other commands that I mentioned, the shift modifier has the effect of opening a new tab rather than re-using an existing tab, whereas in this case the shift has the effect of switching to the opposite panel rather than the current one.

But I think that even this old brain can adapt to this logic. It does have the advantage of being a single keystroke instead of two different ones depending on which panel is current.

This should be in the help file (page Folder Tabs).
It is in the Keyboard layout section:
CTRL+SHIFT+UP Open dir under cursor in other window (new tab)
6th line from the bottom ;-)
