Use the powerfull search function on the top of each forum !

Keywords like USB or stick or autostart will find a lot of useful threads !

e.g. http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=303&highlight=stick

Take in account, that you can use now the %COMMANDER_PATH% as variable for your wincmd.ini (e.g.for your plugin loacation) !

There's a german thread about this in http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=2179

It should become reasonably clear even if you don't understand german.

1. use a patched shell link file pointing to a relative path
2. use a batch file
3. use LaunchTC

INI file documentation:

RunAs
This settings controls if Total Commander will be started as current user or as a different user.

0 means Total Commander will be started as current user.
1 shows a dialog where you can type a username and password.
The default setting is 0. This settings will be automatically set to zero if the operation system doesn't support run as a different user. "Run as" is a Windows 2000 and Windows XP only feature.

UserName
The user name in the "Run as..."-Dialog. You can change the username in this dialog. If RunAs is 0, the setting UserName will be ignored. The default setting is "Administrator". This setting is useful if LaunchTC in a country where the default name of Administrator accounts if not "Administrator".
