Has anyone else experienced this?
I have reproduced it over and over.
It doesn't make sense.
Using TC to copy folders with say 100-200 files totalling 1-2gb from 1 hard drive to either second internal hard drive, or to external hard drive (USB2) turns off the computer without warning, after about 10-20 seconds of copying.
Doing exactly the same thing in Windows Explorer causes no problem whatever.
Same thing in TC5 and 6.
Small quantities of files at a time is OK, although one very large file (800mb) can cause it to happen.
I have an external cache manager. Maybe TC can't work with it.
I have been using WC/TC for several years and fund it very frustrating to have to use WinExplorer.
System is Athlon 1.2 with 1GB ram
Win 2000
File copying crashes computer using TC?

Check your RAM with http://www.memtest86.com/.
Disable auto reboot after system errors so you are able to see a blue screen with more information about the error:
Control Panel-System-Advanced...
Sorry, no exact path as I dont have english Windows OS.
Disable cache manager, it's a waste of system resources anyway and see if problem disappears, well, you should have done that already and report...

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
