Allow to turn off overlay icons for netork shares

Overlay icons are just great, especially when using ToroisseSVN. Anyway, I'm very often using shared drives via OpenVPN and overlay icons terribly slows down direcotry listing. Can be tehre an option like this?
Show over icons:
[x] Show overlay icons [ ] Overlay icons not on net

Just wondering: doesn't checking off "Show icons for special folders: Virtual folders (e.g. Network)" work in such way?

Actually it doesn't. What you mentioned is controlling of diplaying icons itself, not overlays. Displaying of icons can be disabled for network drives, because each icon must be downloaded prior to displaying it.
