Total Commander 7.50a fin Crashed on Search operation

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Yes No

I chose "No". Is it safe to choose "Yes" in such situation?

This happened on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 64-bit, which is not in the list of supported operating systems for tcmd. I post this message only because an error message states to "report this error to Author".

As I mentioned above, this happened only once and I couldn't reproduce it.

I have checked the address - TC crashes when trying to read some form data from its program file totalcmd.exe. It means that totalcmd.exe wasn't accessible for some reason (network problems?).

I also get search crashes here. The only filter used was time on extended page. The crash wasn't catched inside TC.

TC is executed on a local HDD.

Did you call search via right click menu?

Your problem seems to be unrelated to vgrn's problem. His problem is caused by a read error to totalcmd.exe when trying to load the dialog resource of the search function.

Can you post your crash report too?
