Total Commander

Hi,

Being able to compare a source file with its destination when copying a file, before overwriting would help a lot. This way you do not have to open another TC or go to the sync/compare (internal) tool.

Hi, dfev77.

Inside the overwrite dialogue you must have overlooked the button labelled "More options ..." in the lower right hand corner. The first item which it offers is "Compare".
(Total Commander 7.50a)

Try this, (before overwriting):

Ctrl+F3 - use external comparator (if is defined)
Ctrl+Shift+F3 - use internal comparator (TC)
