Autocomplete (same pane copy) bug or design change?

Briefly, in TC 7.03a when executing "same pane copy" (shift+F5), the autocomplete dropdown box lists all files and folders that match the characters I type. In TC 7.50a only matching folders are listed in the dropdown box, making the autocomplete useless for copying to the same folder.
The two following screen shots show the difference in behavior.

I have searched the help file, the forums, and the history.txt file and cannot find an explantion (or mention) of this change. Can anyone tell me how to restore the TC v7.03a behaviour?

I don't see any available options to enable that either. If it was available in 7.0 sounds more like a bug/regression.

I don't think it is possible.

Like Balderstrom said: it looks like some kind of bug. I could reproduce it only once (with 7.02) after reading your post. I've tried to get it work few more times with many TC versions (7 versions down to 7.0) without success.
