Some help would be nice, I can't realize my objective.

So far, so good. The files can be shown in randomly order because of the random numbers TC created.
A copy of all randomly shown files in the left panel to a newly created empty directory in the right panel does not create what I expected. If the right panel is viewed unsorted (ctrl-f7), the order of the filenames in both panels doesn't match. Why? That's what I expected.
Who knows the explanation for this behaviour?
What I intended to get is an randomly sorted directory with the objective to burn it to a CD. So a CD-player without shuffle play can play "randomly" (recorded) mp3's.
I can't achieve this. Who can help? What am I doing/thinking wrong?
A reaction is highly appreciated. Should I do something else?
Rudolf.

AFAIK the CD should display the files according to the order it was written to the Disc. The problem you may be running into is your CD-burning software may be sorting the files prior to burning the image.
I noticed this with ImgBurn -- there doesn't seem to be a way to not auto-sort files dragged to it, thus many other GUI-Burners may be doing the same thing.
A way to get around this, would be to:
* Activate your Custom Column that has the RandomNR field.
* Sort the files by the RandomNR field.
* Select All (or desired files).
* Launch Multi-Rename Tool.
Rename Mask: [C]__[N]
Define Counter:
Digits: 3
* Click Start!
* Drop the files into your CD-Burner APP
* Make ISO/Burn.
Reselect the files and launch the Multi-Rename Tool
Rename Mask: [N6-]
* Click Start!
Note: TC creates new random numbers whenever it loses and regains focus, as well prior to some of the ClipBoard copies (i.e. Selected FileNames + Details) -- which is somewhat buggy since if you have the files already sorted by RandomNR you can never use that command to get the current sorted list.

The Complex TC Burner plugin for TC
http://www.complexnt.com/downloads/complex_pro.zip can burn your CD with the files in the order in which you copy them to the Complex TC Burner file systems folder, if you set that folder to unsorted view (Ctrl+F7).
Unfortunately the plugin is not free.

What's the use of:
Reselect the files and launch the Multi-Rename Tool
Rename Mask: [N6-]
* Click Start!
This looks quite simple

. I'm looking forward to the upcoming season holydays to get this tested using a r/w disc.
Thanks & happy holidays, Balderstrom!

I assumed you'd want to rename the files back to their original names:
[N6-] will rename the files starting from the 6th character to the end --- The 6th character would be where the file began before it was renamed: the previous Multi-rename run added ###__ (5 chars).
Most welcome
