TC's window dissapears although process is still active

Post by *s_k »

Hi,
I think I was uploading something in passive mode to FTP server (running on localhost), when the server crashed. Window of TC then dissapeared although the process was still active.

Just a hit in the dark: Did you minimize TC by chance ?

In this case it may sent to the tray ... dissapeared and sleeping, but not closed.

No I checked that and even If I did so it doesn't change anything because I've not set hiding to tray area.

This has happened several times to me in the last couple of days. TC 6.01 just disappears.

Silly me, I think to have closed it accidentally, so open it again, but the title bar gets the (2) indicating another copy is still running. Task manager shows: yup, there it is, its window just isn't visible.

A few times I just killed the original TC task, but once I didn't and, about an hour later, the original TC window appeared again without interaction from me.

Weird.

I haven't identified any behavioral regularity about this yet.
