This Syn2 incarnation seems a lot more stable and faster than the others. (I did not experience any crashes yet, and even big files were opened almost instantly.)
Some issues:
- Is it possible to change the default encoding for all files to UTF-8? (specifically UTF-8 without the pseudo-BOM) -- all my files use this encoding, and I was very happy when TC Lister implemented the Codepage and UserEncodings options.
- The .cmd files are not opened as "Batch files" -- they should be.
- The .url files are not opened as "Ini files" -- they should be (they follow .ini format).
- The function-tree doesn't show anything for C files -- maybe because they are opened as C++ files? (the tree works Ok for everything else I tried: batch, ini, js, xml, htm, etc.)
This was in 10 min. of trials, I will come back with more if I find anything during "normal usage".

It is not possible to edit anything easily! Many keys does not work at all (i.e. s key).
I.e. When I try to write in HTML file UniversalViewer seems to steal focus from Syn2 plugin.
It does not happen with old Syn2 (2.04).
