Combine files - combine any selected files

I'd like to suggest change in Combine files. Why do you insist on numbered input files? I often need to combine files which are not numbered or don't have any similarity of names, e.g. text outputs from various scripts etc. and I'm not able to do this with TC. Check how Salamander's Split&Combine plugin does it - any selected files can be combined to a single file in required order. Or it might be done by Copy - multiple source files into one target file = merge.

The function is meant to split files on one computer and combine them back on another, it's not meant to combine arbitrary files which do not belong together. For example, people may think that they could combine AVI or even DOC files this way. This will of course not work.

You may use multi rename tool to rename the files to numbered files before starting combine files.

Or the term "Combine" can be replaced with "Concatenate", which will not mislead the users that can get working file with combining doc, avi or other binary types.
