I know that it was working before: If you are in the middle of the "Find Files" you could click on one of the found files from the list while the search was still going on and then click F3 to view that file before the main search ended. This features seems to be gone now in TC 6.01. TC beeps on F3 and ignores the view request while searching. Is this a new bug?
Thanks, Robert

Works fine here... just tried a search for all *.ini on C:\ and kept looking at random found ones using F3 and it works... Sorry, don't know what might be wrong. Maybe access rights or something...?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
Works too...

¤ That works too at home under Win 98 SE (French, more bugged generally...)
¤ The same under XP-Pro, that works with F3 while the Search is running still.
I've admin rights in this XP-Pro.

It doesn't work when searching in archives, because most unpackers aren't thread-safe, so searching an archive and at the same time extracting a file for viewing could cause TC to crash.
