Post by *neverthelesshello »

I miss the standard windows F2 key for rename, is there an quick way in TC using the keyboard? I notice the keyboard shortcuts along the bottom but there doesnt seem to be one for rename which is strange as I use this more than the ones that are there.

I found out - sorry, but for others you can add this in the Wincmd.ini
under the shortcuts section
F2=cm_RenameSingleFile
What you dont see is what you get!

Standard rename hotkey in TC is Shift+F6 (that was used in file managers many years before Windows :)),
also you may map F2 to cm_RenameOnly in Configuration - Misc. (or in wincmd.ini as you did)
Also, if you like to click rename button with mouse, you may add this command to buttonbar.
