Re: Simple Question!
If there is no program associated with ext XYZ, Total Commander does this already. If there is a program associated with that extension, you have to press CTRL+PageDown (make sure you have the option "Treat archives like directories" selected).Oper wrote:let said that i have a file with ext XYZ, casue a backup program created that way but its same as ZIP file (identica)

Hi!
(even EXE)
Sorry, not all! In example, you can't open SFX archives by InstallShield®, and some others... Even some *.CAB, for which you get too the error message "(file) ...xxx.yyy isn't a valid archive file" or so...
But no problem whether the format is really ZIP or pkZIP...
Best regards,

Clo
You can open a ZIP file with any extension (even EXE) by CTRL-PgDown key ...

Re: !!
The internal packer seems to not support passwords. When you do a search here on "zip" and "password", you will find some interesting posts on this. Even a download of a DLL file which you can use which does support passwords (which will fix your problem).Oper wrote:i used CTRL+page Down, but whne i try to copy a file with password they start the copy and ask me for passowrd but after that i get an erro that said: there is no paker asociated to that file!
