Sorry, I don't understand, there is a colour code #2 corresponding with *. ? Is the angle-bracket normal here?
ColorFilter2=>*.
ColorFilter2Color=231631
Are hexa values accepted here? Easier if yes...
Please, don't forget lunch!
To see a bit later....

Yes! I am obviously not capable explaining my thoughts. This happened before on this forum!djk wrote:IMO It's not enough for krojc. He probably wants to mark only some of files so he probably needs additional functionality of TC (priorities).
You also gave me an answer; not supported functionality, so I'd like to put this on wishlist. As for the colour of the files without extension I believe, that some files should stay "normal". I do not change default looks and functionality of TC except for plugs. It works for me out of floppy!
Stone-head command!

Hello again!
I wanted rest for some hours, because I were on the deck for 20 hours!
I set an hexa value (the value has the true color) like below:
[Colors]
ColorFilter1=*.exe
ColorFilter1Color=16711680
ColorFilter2=>*.
ColorFilter2Color=$D46F00
That doesn't work, no-extension files remain black…
I checked all attributes but directories.
• Something goes wrong, I'll try under XP-Pro
Gruß

Orange is blue!
2Lefteous
Hallo!
That works now, thanks, but the colour is... medium blue!
Maybe the blue code is elsewhere ...??

Orange is orange
2Lefteous
Sorry, no, it's dark orange, like its value on a previous post here.
I've a tool in my HTML editor to set this, it's right. I use this for years... It can't be blue in anyway, since blue = 00 !
I've too the MS standard colours, I can change for the nearest...

Details are better...

Hello!
Thank you for this explanation of your needs with more details…
Like you can see here, only the colour for no-extension files problem caused a flow of posts!
To polish up the sorting of your no-extension files, the one remaining criterion should be the file-name lenght
• For instance, a sort from 1 up to 3 characters, another from 3 up to 6 characters, then from 6 up to n… characters and so on.
It's just an idea to help you, in order you could present your feature request clearly…
Hoping that the Author shall have a look here,
kind regards,
Claude

Forgiven!
2Lefteous
You're quite forgiven, since you help a lot here! Thanks again.
• So, I used the complement to white $2B09FF instead the wanted colour $D46F00
That looks in the right "red/orange" range, but false a bit, because the pannel background colour (#BBFFFF) causes an undesirable combination…That'ld worth a supplemental light correction; maybe it could be calculated (or made by guesswork!).
¤ Note: it's an odd phenomenon that I noted already in another program (Delphi-5™ ), using a cream coloured background…
With a decimal value R G B , that no longer works again…
Ah! What a relief! In any case, an improvement of TC about this subject seems necessary.
I've an idea… Sh!
Viel Grüße, cordialement, kind regards,
Clo
Hello!I took a closer look on the color. The color is not inverted - red and blue are exchanged. Shame on me.

The reason for this is that PC/Intel processors run in little endian mode, so red and blue suppose to be exchanged like this. If you want to know more about little/big endian, just search on google.Lefteous wrote:I took a closer look on the color. The color is not inverted - red and blue are exchanged. Shame on me.
Of all the planets I've been to, this one is my favorite.
