FTP Plugin

Hi Christian,

First of all, thank you for Android TC: once again, the best tool of such a type.

Only a little bug: I'm experimenting a strange behaviour with Android FTP plugin latest snapshot (1.0 beta 8 - june the 24th).
It seems a regression, because previous beta version didn't suffer from this problem.

With TC language set to System default -Italian is my case- I see some text in Chinese:
- plugin name: "FTP(<chinese text>)"
- "new connection" command and function
- 'popup' messages (plugin starting and stopping)
Everything is in Chinese but context menu (properties etc.), that's in Italian.

As I switch to English, all appears as expected but plugin name, that's again: "FTP(<chinese text>)"

I thought that Italian language wasn't completely translated, but at crowdin.net I see that it's completed on 100%: let me know how can I help.

My phone is an HTC Wildfire shipped with Android Frojo 2.2.1

OT: IMHO, context menu for FTP new connection and LAN new server commands is quite useless.

Thank you
Ciao
Ivo

Sorry, I made a mistake when updating the language strings. It only affects the FTP plugin and Italian. Please download the new beta 9 of the plugin (via "+" button).

It would be useful an FTP server plugin too, to browse my phone's sdcard by my pc's FTP client (TC, of course!!) Only inside a wifi network, not open for the outside. There are some similar apps on the market.

Just get a standalone FTP server for Android from the market.

Hi Christian,

First of all I have to say Thank You for the Android version, I have been waiting for this for a long time. I have been using TC for ever it seems and was going through withdrawls on my droid.

I have a request for the FTP client plugin, can there be a way to "import" the FTP server listing from the Windows file tcx_ftp.ini

I have a long list I use on my notebook and would rather not re-type them all. ( I also do not think I can remember all the passwords)

Thanks,
Brian
