Sometimes plugins hang or crash. You can create something like in Firefox (article "Plugin-container and out-of-process plugins" in MozillaLine)

You may try this setting for
"Options->Configuration.. -> Edit/Viewer:"

Viewer for F3 wrote:(o) External Viewer <F3>
