Content plugins not working

I have anytag and text search and twinkey as content plugins and none of them are available in the drop down on the plugins tab of the find files dialog.

I tried to reinstall but still not available. When reinstalling twinkey it did come up with a missing dll error.

I have installed 64bit over my existing 32bit and they are both using the same config files. The plugins work in the 32bit version of 7.56a.

Is it recommended to update the 32bit to 8 and then install the 64bit in to the same directory?

edit: I have updated the 32bit version to v8 and the content plugins are available, the problem looks specific to 64bit.

Hello sekular,
Indeed, 32-bit plugins do not work in the 64-bit version.

This is the first version available in both 32-bit and 64-bit. Currently there aren't many 64-bit plugins yet - I will publish them when they become available. Therefore you should keep the 32-bit version for the moment if you use plugins regularly.

I just wonder would it be technically possible to create something like proxy for 32-bit plugins?

Perhaps:

Chris somewhere wrote that he indented to implement something like this. I don't see why this should be impossible technically, but the problem might lie in performance penalties.

Maybe he saves it as Plan B. In case Plan A is not successful enough. :)
