two pane view with equal sized panes?

Before switching to TC for Android I have been using GhostCommander, and on my 7" tablet in landscape mode there was enough space for two equal sized panes (IMHO).

Any chance that a two pane view with equal sized panes will be build into TC, possibly as an alternative to the current two pane view?

I'm indeed considering this for version 2, but only if I find a good way to show clearly which panel is the active one. Currently this can be seen easily by the larger panel.

I guess you can not split the titel and color the parts differently?

in TC for Windows you use different address bar colors (blue and grey) to indicate active panel. so why don't you do the same in TCA? it also has address bar

On Windows, there are standard colors (by theme) for active and inactive title and text. Unfortunately this isn't the case on Android. I cannot use my own colors either, because the theme colors can vary a lot between devices.

The active panel can be highlighted with a bold or underlined title font. It would be very convenient.

Or just shade the file lists' backgrounds differently. A user option to select which colors to use would be welcome as well.
