[8.0ß14-x64] Create folder inside zip: not focused

Post by *BuHHunyx »

1. Enter inside zip archive and create new folder
Expected: new folder under cursor (as for regular folders).
Actual: cursor stayed on recent position.

Not confirmed, the cursor is placed on the file here - I just tried it. Can you give me more info, please? Are there any Unicode characters in the archive name, or directory name?

CONFIRMED. The cursor stays on the recent file. No Unicode, very long ZIP name with many "." symbols. 8.0b14 x32.

PS. Also confirmed with Cyrillics in the ZIP name and with short 8.3 names.
We are not so S.M.A.R.T. as we imagine...

Affected only for FAT32 partition. On NTFS works fine.

Sorry, not confirmed either, just tried with a ZIP on an USB stick.

Please give me more details:
1. The name and path of the archive
2. The name of the directory you try to create

I can confirm the problem, but not on ordinary NFTS harddisk - only on a network drive here at work.

It works Ok though on network path assigned a drive letter.

Well, its not related to FS but at which panel you working: works at left, wont at right.
Archive: 1.zip at the root of drive, create folder '1' for example.

I confirm the fix too. Tested in beta 13 (bug) and beta 17 (fine). I guess this can be moved to "TC Fixed bugs".
