Today while copying some huge files using TCs FTP Plugin, i noticed that it doesn't show the transfer speed.

I'd consider the Transfer speed a very useful information.

I know the display size is limited, but is there any possibility to add this?

Currently it's not planned because all these calculations are quite slow with Java, so I fear that it will cause a considerable slowdown.
