Icon Bug

Post by *TheByteSmasher »

I think I saw this in beta 2, definitely it's in Tc 1. I have switched off the beta temporarily until t the root issue is resolved. Anyway, when looking at a list of items, while scrolling down in a folder, the icons only populate as long as there is a scrolling action. Therefore the last 4 or so items don't get an icon since the scrolling is done. Sorry if this was mentioned before I tried to see if it was. Cheers!

This should indeed be fixed in the beta. Why did you switch off the beta? Please send me a bug report if anything is wrong. The root functions should all work just fine in beta 2, only the function "Root functions everywhere" doesn't work.

I switched off because of the faulty root functions, not realizing that I could remount the drive to write to it. Is there any way to ummm... Auto mount the system drive every time I open TC Like a configure option? Or does it already do that? Anyway, I'm back on the beta and will report bugs as I find them. Cheers!

The latest beta (2) auto-mounts in the following two cases:
1. When copying to the read-only partition
and
2. When saving a text file to the read-only partition

I just got my first tablet yesterday (Google Nexus 7), and I could finally reproduce and fix the icon problem!

The new JB has homescreen rotation built in so (4.1.2) so no need for that workaround with the build prop I told you about. :D
