So on landscape, after a drag and drop (I moved files twice) after dropping and selecting move the moved files didn't revert to their "at rest" state. Long press on them (icon, name whatever) caused the multiple select/deselect dialog to appear instead of the standard one with rename, properties etc. I had to do a deselect then upon long pres I got to the desired dialog.
