Copying file over SMB cannot be moved to background

Post by *Yim »

Hello,
if this bug was talked about elsewhere, please forgive me, but I haven't found any other relevant topic.
I usually process multiple large files (~1GB) over SMB share which makes the transfer really slow. When I start copying another file (usually 3rd or 4th simultaneously) there usually appear infobox saying "Connecting to network drive" while there is already progress window of the copy process. After the connecting window disappear, the Move to background button doesn't work anymore.
Sorry if the labels aren't 100% correct as I don't use english version.

Try using the queue instead (F5 - F2).

I usually am using queue, but when I copy from archives (ZIP, RAR), then it's AFAIK not possible.
And using another approach for copying doesn't remove bug from the first one :P
