FTP from command line

Can I connect to NEW ftp-server (that usually perform by pressing Ctrl-N) from Totalcmd command line? :?:

AFAIK, no, the comand line is basicly meant for NT or DOS commands. I know you can issue FTP commands on an alive ftp connection, but this is a bonus ;-)
