v2.72b2 and folders on default view

Post by *ja_som »

Hi, I have latest beta and I can't add folder on default view. When I tap on user defined location and choose folder, then I get an error:
"It seems like you have chosen the wrong folder!

SD card:
primary = /storage/emulated/0"

I use Nexus 7 and 5 with Android .6.0.1

This function is NOT meant to add internal folders to the home folder, it's meant to add things like USB sticks (USB OTG) or SD-Cards.

To add a link to an internal folder, do the following:
1. Go to the folder
2. Tap on the bookmarks button
3. Choose "Add bookmark"
4. Check option "Show in home folder" <- This is the important option
5. Tap "Add new bookmark" button

OK, thanks, but was working before, in 2.71 I think. Later I tried to do something in folder added to home folder, but I was not able, folder was changed (displayed) e.g. from "beam" to "_beam", I have seen items there, but I was not able to delete, copy or rename them...

It was removed so people don't try to accidentally overwrite files with themselves, e.g. by adding the internal memory and then copying from /storage/emulated/0 to the same directory in the virtual folder...
