I prefer SynWrite because there is a major drawback
in CudaText and many other text editors.
Try to mark a block of text in column mode and then hit Tab to intend this block
The result is loosing the marked text.
SynWrite handles this without problems.

Unfortunately no :(
Now the marked text is no longer deleted
but the whole lines which contain the marked block are intented
and not only the marked block.

I see how Synwrite does it, it shiftts vert-block but not usual way: it adds indent from left column of block
You want the same?
How other apps do it?

Yes, I want the same as SynWrite does.
I have one other free Editor doing the same as SynWrite, is EditBone
http://www.bonecode.com/
I'm doing such Column operations very often and have sorted out all Editors which are not following the logic of SynWrite.
For me this the only logical behaviour if a block is marked.

@Alextp
now that there is a 64bit version of cudatext any chance you can convert this editor into a lister plugin?
the only x64 editor is your old syn2 (maybe update the x64 build of syn2), the need for a lister plugin is editing text inside archives as F4 does not work within archives only F3 does

For me F4 inside archive works.
TC asks if the file should be unpacked and edited.
Then the configured text editor starts.

For me even without any questions ...
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

This depends on an Ini option:
TC help section 4.b wrote:ExpertMode=1 1: run files inside archives directly on ENTER; 0: show property sheet

BTW, F4 works for me for standard archives (zip, rar) as well. Which archive format did you try?
TC plugins: PCREsearch and RegXtract
