Tabs headers become spontaneously big

Post by *Sektor »

After selecting and applying something in Options, the tab headers on the active panel become very big. In my case, this happened when I chose "Allow only 1 copy of Total Commander at a time", but in other time it was selecting cursor color. The screenshot is here: http://s33.postimg.org/dj8f0nvrj/TC_9_0_Beta1_x64_big_tab_headers.png

You can disable icons on tabs via Configuration - Options - Folder tabs.

I'm sorry, I didn't understand - did I do something wrong or you confirm it's a bug? :)

Try and change your Main window font to something bigger (Configuration -> Options -> Fonts -> Main window font -> Change font)

Problem with icons in the tabs header

Post by *MARK2580 »

I noticed an annoying bug. If there is a folder icon is not the default, the tab with the folder becomes a 2-fold higher, and there is a huge icon is displayed.
This bug I noticed in version 9.0 beta 3

UPD: it happens when active a vertical bar.

Sorry for the bad english. I am using a translator.

I'm sorry, I still can't reproduce it.

Could you make screenshots of what you do to get the larger icon?

I already don't remember what I did, but it seems it was adding new tab (Ctrl+Up). The screenshot is in the first message. As you can see, the first tab on the left panel has normal size of down-arrow ("Downloads"), however on the right side icons are bigger.

I still do not understand how it turns out. The only thing I know, it happens when you create 1st tab in the panel via "ctrl + up".
I will write somehow will only remark any regularity.

UPD: Perhaps it occurs when a folder name is too long or contains characters such as underscores, parentheses, square brackets, or spaces.

How are these icons defined?
1. Directories with desktop.ini file defining the icon?
or
2. You use view modes to switch to different icons?
