I think I know and I can only prove it with the number of posts in this forum, by being a TC beta tester, and with the following link: http://www.angelfire.com/theforce/pdavit/

I only wish I had the time for programming. That would have been more productive. My work takes too much of my time and energy. Even going through this forum is an everyday straggle. When I reach the point where I'll be starting my own family, even reading this forum would be a free-time luxury! :(

None yet! Just some expansions on your History Cleaner:

1. A "Select All" option on the right-click and Edit menu.

2. A button to clear the whole history traces in the ini file but excluding those categories that are not really history-related (e.g. left/right tabs)

:) Hello Panos !
¤ Apart : I can't display your Web page, I get only the background; then : nothing more.
* I guess either you could lighten the page, or "the pipes are clogged" currently, or … you need another IP ! :P

Thanks a lot. I have seen your hint at my poll and thought of recommend you to leave it to @ghisler.

But now I'm glad I did not. Great tool, very useful and efficient.

Thanks again.

Just add index.html if it doesn't work for you.

It contains the templates of Multi Rename Tool you can save with [F2]

Code: Select all

[rename]
abc.ers_name ="[N]"
abc.ers_ext ="[E]"
abc.ers_search ="abc"
abc.ers_replace ="xyz"
abc.ers_params =0|1|1|1
EFG_name ="[N1-3][N5-]"
EFG_ext ="[E][C]"
EFG_search ="efg"
EFG_replace ="HIJ"
EFG_params =0|1|1|1
BTW is there any chance you add a edit function for history. Maybe a save and load function for each section?

best regards

oops. what a shame :oops:
anyway this section is like [Searchs] you can delete its entry from TC itself and this is more safe because there is many properties for each entry you need to examine them before delete. showing these properties in my program need a lot of work.

very easy task, just one line of code to enable the ListView control LabelEdit property but in this case what you call the program History Cleaner or History Editor?
i thought of this at the begining but i didn't because the main program function is to get rid of unwanted entry not to edit it specially the most history entry is tediuos when editing like pathes, rename template
maybe i offer this feature as optional
thnaks

As you mention it: My intension was to delete the whole list, not only one entry.
So the display of all entries of each section is a nice goody and for 'command line' or 'Tabs' very useful.

But I miss the one command to delete all history with one click.
As much as possible with checkbox for each section. This may give you an idea what I mean.

what you call the program History Cleaner or History Editor?
In german we say 'appetite comes with eating' - so as I see your History cleaner the advantages of a history editor come to my mind :) ;)

Kind regards
