my pc is win10 x64 chinese version, using microsoft-provided chinese pinyin input method. this input method has two state, one is chinese , and the other is english.
when in chinese input state, both in TCx32 and TCx64, if i tpye some keyboard characters, a input box with a green icon appears at the top left corner, and the filter fuction using characters usually is wrong. But if in english input state, the nomal filter input box is at the bottom of TC window, and the filter fuction is right.
why not use the same input box at the bottom of TC, when in chinese input state?

I don't have any influence on these boxes - they are part of the IME, which is handled by Windows. My guess is that Windows doesn't know where to show it during quick search, because there is no edit box.
Maybe it helps to change the quick search method to "Letters - With search dialog", because then there is an edit box.
